September 22, 2013 CINDY GRAVES makes her impact at the NATIONAL LEVEL Cindy Graves is elected to serve as Member-at-Large on the Executive Committee of the Board of the National Federation of Republican Women, the first member from Florida to be elected to the NFRW Executive Comittee in decades. What's more - Cindy was elected outright in the first ballot in an eletion with eight candidates and a majority required to win, proof of her overwhelming following on the NFRW Board.
There is good news! The American public and especially young voters are finally having buyer's remorse as Obama's numbers plunge to record lows! It seems the Affordable Care Act isn't so affordable, the scandals involving the stripping of American liberties are not going away and there is so much corruption oozing out of this White House, even the media is paying attention!
As we gear up for the challenging midterm elections, I am so encouraged to report what you already know...the Grand Old Party is alive and leading with offense!
Agressive Offense, Truth and Communication Among Women will Lead Us to Victory in 2014!
Big changes are happening everywhere from the bold, in-your-face messaging of the Republican Party of Florida to the aggressive politicking of the RNC, the Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee, 2010 may very well look tame to the liberals after the trouncing they may suffer in 2014!
2013 is the year of planning, political action and internal federated meetings and awards - as we prepare for the 2014 midterm elections. Our National Convention took place in Louisville KY in September. We elected new NFRW leadership for 2014/2015 and I was given the honor of being elected a Member-at-Large to the Executive Committee of the NFRW Board. On top of that FFRW won the prestigeous NFRW P.R. Award! We attended a reception at Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby, where a special race was run in honor of NFRW's 75th (Diamond) anniversay. The winning horse was called "Why Prolong the Agony"!
It is hard to believe that I am in my fourth and final year as President of the FFRW! Thank you again for the privilege of serving as your state president and especially for all you do to unite our beloved Party and our nation!
Cindy Graves FFRW President
