Weekly Update for 2/1/10
This week it was Miami, Tallahassee, Tampa and
Plant City. In Miami, Paula met with Mayors, County Commissioners and the
Chamber of Commerce and she met with health care, education and transportation
groups. In addition, Paula was the special guest on the Marta Flores Radio
Show! Viva Paula! In Tallahassee it was the Annual Associated Press Editors
Meeting to express her commonsense vision for the future. In Tampa, it was all
business, small, medium and large businesses that is. Paula talked with the
backbone of our economy, business owners at the Tampa Interbay Rotary Club,
about what it takes to help create jobs and get Florida’s economy back on the
right track. In Plant City, Paula had breakfast with her good friend and
supporter Rep. Rich Glorioso and some of Plant City’s most influential (and
early rising) leaders. Paula will finish out the week with a visit to Orlando
to meet with the Florida Women’s Political Network. Tonight, the Dockery
campaign will be out at the USF Sundome in Tampa to welcome folks to the Bill
O’Rielly/Glenn Beck on their Bold and Fresh Tour! And tomorrow, come see us at
Pig Fest at Tiger Town in Lakeland for some of the best BBQ in America!
This Week’s Endorsement Announcement Republican
Senator Dennis Jones of Seminole endorsed Paula Dockery early this week saying,
“It has been my honor to serve with Senator Paula Dockery since 1996. During
that time, I have been so impressed with her knowledge of the issues,
willingness to listen and her honesty. Having Paula on your side of an issue
means that half of the work is already done. It is a pleasure to be supporting
her for Governor of the State of Florida."
