e-Club
Committees
The
FFRW E-club committees complete their work in a virtual environment
allowing for maximum interaction among members. Committee directives
are outlined below for your information as you choose how you would
like to participate.
Committee Chairs serve as the E-club
liaison to the FFRW Executive Committee advising them on how to
introduce and encourage e-club and online activity related to their
specific committee directive.
Campaign Committee
Provides an e-club representative to every Florida state campaign. These representatives will be responsible for reporting campaign activities, volunteer opportunities and information to e-club members through the on-line format. Volunteer hours contributed by e-club members will be tracked through this committee.
Fundraising Committee
Responsible for online fundraising activities for the FFRW. This may include but is not limited to “E-events”, silent auctions, corporate sponsorships, convention fundraising, FFRW projects and links to local club fundraising events.
Legislative and Research Committee
Responsible for following legislation in the Florida Senate and House with special emphasis on bills and issues the FFRW membership has elected to support or denounce. Connect members to Lobby Tools so they can follow specific topics of interest and/or follow specific representative activity through the legislative process.
Membership Committee
Serve as the contact for District Representatives and Club Presidents for potential members to the FFRW e-club and to the local clubs. Assist in identifying areas in the state of Florida where there is a potential for starting a local club.
Program and Public Relations
Identify opportunities to link e-club resources and interests with FFRW
and/or local club activities and programs to increase awareness of
Republican activity in the state. Initiate program and public
relations ideas for the FFRW e-club. This committee is responsible
for but is not limited to posting meetings, events and activities on
the calendar and program pages of the FFRW e-club website, creating and
distributing press releases to applicable state and national media
sources, creating and enacting public relations campaigns to support
Republican voter drives, campaign initiatives, issues or other matters
relevant to the mission of the FFRW and Republican Party.
Social Networking
Responsible for posting and monitoring of activity
on Social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Advise the
FFRW on ways to best interact on these sites.
Caring for America
Create an FFRW Caring for America Project online
and/or post online links/support for local club Caring for America
Projects.
By-laws and Standing Rules
Assist the FFRW e-club in the
finalization of club by-laws. Assist FFRW state committee with how
e-club activity may influence the FFRW by-laws and standing rules.
