Thank you for visiting the largest and fastest growing grassroots organization for women in the Great State of Florida!
The FFRW has a long, proud and distinguished history of grassroots activism and GOP leadership that spans decades. We count among our membership empowered women leaders, Florida State Senators and Representatives, elected officials at every level of government, and the Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee, Sharon Day.
We worked tirelessly in 2010 to help two wonderful ladies shatter the glass ceiling: Pam Bondi became the first female Attorney in Florida and Jennifer Carroll was sworn in as the first elected female Lieutenant Governor.
Our members were also instrumental in electing Marco Rubio to the US Senate, Rick Scott as Florida’s “Lets Get to Work” Governor, Jeff Atwater as Florida’s CFO and Adam Putnam as Florida’s Agriculture Commissioner. We are also proud of our work in helping retain and also elect many new GOP Congressional seats including Congressman Allen West, Sandy Adams and Steve Southerland.
Our spotlight will now be focused on 2012, building upon our enormous success in 2010, one county at a time, one race at a time, uniting women along the way. Recognized nationally for our activism on behalf of the ticket, our outreach has landed us on Fox News, CNN and hundreds of other media outlets.
In 2012 we will move beyond our previous accomplishments in technology, leadership and the education and promotion of women candidates for office, while putting forth a grassroots organization that ensured we increased GOP seats at every level.
We launched the Florida Women's D.C. Project at our Biennial Convention to bring together women from all party affiliations who wish to make Obama a one-term president. (click here for details)
Please join us, and participate in our efforts to achieve even better results in 2012 and win back the US Senate and the White House!
